Desalination Plant, Saudi Arabia
The Jubail SWRO Phase II, a continuation of the AL Fatah Water and Power project in Jubail, has a design capacity of 58,500m3 and its projected to be completed by 30th April 2014.
This dual membrane plant with UF followed by reverse osmosis (RO) will be the largest UF-RO desalination plant in Saudi Arabia. With a UF production capacity of 7,400m3/hr (177 MLD), the SWRO facility will produce water for the city’s industry. An eight month pilot period with UF and other filtration technologies preceded the selection.
During piloting, Pentair X-Flow’s membranes showed outstanding performance. This, combined with the company’s track record and project management capabilities, led the selection of Pentair X-Flow.
The client requires chemical resistant, solvent free, non-slump adhesives for bonding ceramic tiles to concrete and masonry in the pump stations, Fosroc has offered our product that complies with the clients specifications
- Nitotile 489 and Nitotile EP Grout has been offered by Fosroc and approved to be applied for all the internal and external walls in the project.
As per client’s request proposed material given better satisfaction, especially non-slump on vertical application.
The Client and consultant was happy as tile fixing was easy on verticals, and whole surface was done within the time limit.
